The Digeiz software multiflux is responsible for analyzing the video streams, at 10 FPS. For each frame, a neural network detects the pedestrians. Then a tracking algorithm based on motion and appearance creates trajectories out of the single-image detections. These trajectories are then compared to a calibrated polygon :

This picture is a debugging view from the software where the counting polygon is displayed in yellow and the trajectory 575 is passing-by the polygon - it will not enter the counting polygon.

When a counting station is selected on the map, a side panel appears. Below is a diagram illustrating this panel, along with a table providing descriptions of its various elements:

Title section Counting station icon - Indicates the type of wall associated with the counting station.
Floor Floor 0 Floor on which the counting station is located.
Backlinks 3 Number of map elements linked to the counting station.
Database ID Counting station ID 878e7… Internal identifier used in the Digeiz database.
Billing Deployed Yes Indicates whether the counting station has been deployed.
Activity Closed Indicates whether the counting station is operational (open or closed).
Priority Low Calibration priority assigned by the Digeiz Operations team.
Video Camera ID C-105 Identifier of the camera linked to the counting station.
Virtual stream ID 1051 Identifier of the virtual video stream associated with the counting station. Each counting station uses a dedicated cropped video stream.
Calibration Take away No Indicates whether the counting station measures a takeaway or payment area within a kiosk.
Counting type All Defines whether the counting station measures entries, exits, or both.
Map element Carrefour In Wall to which the counting station is associated.
